Jeff graduated high school from Mt.Iron-Buhl in 1994
He has a degree in Elementary Education and coaching from St. Cloud State University (Graduated in 1998)
Has a masters degree in education
He's been a head coach for 23 years:
Head Girls Basketball for 2 years at McGregor High School in Minnesota
21 years as head coach in Mt.Iron-Buhl High School (The past two years he has been the coach of both the girls and boys teams)
Overall Record: 520-171
498-147 girls basketball and 22-24 boys record
His girls teams have been to state 10 times in the past 11 years. He has taken runner up twice, 3rd place twice, 4th place once - and were semi finalists this past season. There was no 3rd place game due to COVID.
His team is in the Arrowhead Conference - where they have been conference champions 9 times. He's been named section coach of the year 6 times and Class A State Coach of the Year once.
He also organized and run a spring boys AAU program for 21 years up until he took over the boys program two years ago.
He has been running youth skills camps for the past 23 years under the AAU name (HIGH IMPACT)
